Soar through the air on one of our zip lines. The first gives you a bird’s-eye view of your cabin and the lake. The second sails between tall pine trees and glides by the lake. (Trained camp personnel operate zip lines.)To make zip lines as enjoyable as possible, the size of campers and weather are considered when determining who goes down the longer zip line over the lake. We have found that under certain conditions campers enjoy going down the small zip line multiple times rather than wait due to delays on the longer zip line.
Zip down the yellow “Speedster” slide or enjoy the green “Twister” slide’s winding turns during pool time. (Bathing suits with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, etc., are not allowed. All jewelry must be removed before entering the pool area. One lifeguard and at least one leader are present at water slides.)
Learn paddling techniques and teamwork—and embrace your inner explorer—as you paddle around the lake’s island in a flat-bottom canoe. Each canoe has a camp leader in it, and each person wears a life jacket.
Cool off in the pool with camp’s favorite activity: swimming! Our certified lifeguards are always present to make sure everyone has a safe and fun experience. (Bathing suits with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, etc., are not allowed. All jewelry must be removed before entering the pool area. Two lifeguards and at least one leader are present at the swimming area.)
Learn this ancient skill and see if you can hit the bullseye in the archery range. You’ll be taught proper handling skills and be closely supervised by an instructor and cabin leaders. Younger campers aim at a closer, more manageable target.
Bait your hook and cast a line in the lake to snag a bream or large mouth bass. Fishing poles and bait are provided.
Grab 1–3 other campers and hop in a paddleboat to take a nice, easy cruise. Each camper is required to wear a life jacket and is supervised by a lake instructor and cabin leader.
Aim steady to hit targets using BB rifles in our marksmanship range. Campers are taught important techniques and safety measures from an experienced instructor. Whenever campers are at the range, the instructor and cabin leaders are right there to help.
Show your creative side (and feel free to get a little messy!) doing arts and crafts. Every camper gets a free craft project to do, and additional crafts can be purchased!
Get ready to stand up, cheer, and compete in mystery events and games each evening to earn points for your team. You’ll also learn fun, camp-themed songs you’ll be singing for weeks to come.
Rally back and forth in a fast-paced game of tetherball on the courts right next to your cabin. At the end of the week, a medal and ribbons are awarded to the top four boys and girls tetherball champions.
Try your hand at these classic games and compete in weekly tournaments—test your aim in shuffleboard or show your backhand skills in Ping-Pong. Every week a medal and ribbons are awarded to the top four players in each tournament.
Jump into our gaga ball pit, and guard your shins! This fast-paced and safe version of dodgeball has become a camp favorite. Campers can compete in weekly tournaments to be crowned the camp champ.
